The very popular St Senan’s AC Cross Country fixture took place last Sunday in summer like conditions where the going was firm. In the Women’s 3k race Hazel Galloway ran very well to win her category and showed a marked improvement on her recent Moyne performance. Evan Fitzgerald competed in the Senior men’s 7000m race.

The Limerick Mini Marathon 10K road race took place last weekend. North Cork AC promoted a very successful Half Marathon last Sunday with over 700 athletes competing on a day where conditions were ideal, on a route that took the athletes from Charleville to Kilmallock and back.
