Michael Egan loves a challenge, well he truly achieved one last weekend when competing in the Quadrathon Challenge in County Donegal. This involved 4 Half Marathons in 4 consecutive Days over different routes that were very scenic and rugged along parts of the Wild Atlantic Way on the Inishowen Peninsula. This Challenge involved a marathon a day for four days and Michael put in a brilliant performance over the 4 days when finishing 27th overall in a total time of 10 hours 19 mins 5 secs. When broken down into each race, he achieved the following performances: 1st Half Marathon 33rd in 2 hours 30 mins 44 secs, 2nd Half Marathon 29th in 2 hours 35 mins 41 secs, 3rd Half Marathon 27th in 2 hours 51 mins 3 secs and the 4th Half marathon saw him finishing 43rd in 2 hours 21 mins 37 secs. This was some achievement by Michael and makes the Boston Scientific Half Marathon a run in the park.
