Carriganore was the venue last Sunday for the National Novice Cross Country Championships and it was great to see a team competing for the Club in the Men’s 6k race. Competition was very keen, and it was great to see club members running so well at this level of competition. Jimmy Boland ran well when finishing 102nd in 22:39, then we had Anthony Bowen making his debut at this level also running well when finishing 127th in 23:20 with Joey Feery also running well when finishing 142nd in 23:57. Billy Moloney making his debut in Cross Country ran very well when finishing 162nd in 24:28. It was great to have a Club team competing at this level and long may it continue
