The Tullaroan Festival of races took place last Saturday and the Club was well represented. In the Early Marathon, Shane Greene ran a brilliant race when winning in 3 hours 26 mins 31 secs. Last year he won the Ultra marathon at this venue. In the Ultra Marathon we had Mark Corcoran also running a brilliant race when finishing 5th overall in 6 hours 5 mins 6 secs. In the Half Marathon we also had some great performances like Billy Moloney finishing 2nd in 88 mins 13 secs. Niall O Shea 28th in 106:34, Alan O Shea 32nd in 107:39, Pat Walsh 39th in 109:19, Victor Direen 58th in 117:25, Sancha Quigley 68th in 122:31, Mellissa McCarthy 70th in 122:55, Brian Tyrrell 71st in 125:59, Helen O Ceallaigh 85th in 139:59, Denise Donnelly 86th in 139:59, Jackie Walsh 92nd in 142:09 and Cathy Mansfield 94th in 143:56.
