Nenagh was the venue on Monday last for the Munster Indoor Championships. In the junior men’s 1500m Conor Flaherty ran very well when winning the silver medal in 4 mins 37.29 secs with his clubmate Tadgh Quinn winning the bronze in 4 mins 51.31 secs. In the Junior women’s 1500m race Ruby Carroll won the silver medal in 5 mins 29.8 secs. In the women’s under 23 1500m Emma Murray also ran well when winning the silver medal in 5 mins 7.56 secs. In the Junior women’s 3000m race Muireann Duffy made a winning start to 2023 when finishing first in 10 mins 20.09 secs. In the Master Men over 55 3000m race Conor Fleming ran very well when winning in 11 mins 0.7 secs.
