The National Junior and Under 23 Indoor Track and Field Championships took place in Abbottstown last weekend. In the Junior men’s 3000m Race walk the Club was represented by Sam O Sullivan. In a very competitive race Sam got the year off to a very good start when finishing 3rd in 14 mins 9.11 secs.

This popular event took place on December 27th. Here athletes had to contend with strong winds and rain. Still Kealey Tideswell ran very well when winning the women’s race in 37 mins 41 secs.
